A report recapping market activity in South County beach cities the 30 days before April 23 showed that San Clemente closed the most home sales, with 48 sold and 135 homes into escrow (pending). Dana Point had 31 closed sales and 73 pending sales. Laguna Beach saw only six closed sales and 51 pending sales.

San Clemente closed 59 sales and saw 155 homes go into escrow; Dana Point had 34 closed sales and 97 pending sales; Laguna Beach saw 20 closed sales and 59 pending sales.

Realtors say activity is picking up in all price ranges. "Even the $1 million to $4 million range has seen more activity than we have seen since last summer," said Phil Immel, with the Immel Team.
